Cow Hollow Inn
2910 Lombard Street

In including the BEYOND in our FRESburg blog, I wanted to include cool posts about recent finds in almost any category – this one is a great find I recently had the pleasure of staying at in San Franscico:

The Cow Hollow Inn,
in The Cow Hollow/Marina District.

First, area: Near Golden Gate Bridge, Palace of Fine Arts; and in immediate walking distance of a nice upscale, very walkable neighborhood, with a nearby Walgreens, perfect for buying that toothbrush I had forgotten to bring, a Peet’s Coffee House, fantastic looking bakery, & innumerable cafes (most offering brunch) & even a small neighborhood movie theatre.

Next, hotel itself: Only three-story, I like staying in earthquake zones with no nearby skyscrapers, & this area was perfectly low-key!

As I referenced their information on Booking.com, I noticed a rating of 8.5 (Very Good) out of 2050 reviews, & had been booked 31 times that time of day already!

It is non-smoking (a must for me) and has these bonuses: No parking fee! (1 car) with parking in-site. Free WI-Fi, Airport Shuttle – & has 3-4 bedroom suites available with kitchens for longer stays.

It was a comfortable, quiet stay, with less of the hustle & bustle of the typically loud city (make sure to also ask for room off main street.)

Lastly: Value! A steal starting at $125.00 most nights!

All in all, a great conveniently located place to stay.
